The Kinmen Passenger Terminal, a functional, feasible, high class and locally rooted architecture statement. The striking architectural expression of the Kinmen traditional housing and temple roofs has a strong emblematic character.
It is this striking feature that has been developed into a guiding principle for the proposed hypermodern passenger terminal and center.
The ease of traffic flows, legibility and smooth operations of embarking and disembarking together determine the functionality of the project.
The proposed passenger terminal makes use of the qualities given by the master plan: the central symmetrical approach axis, the routing, the green setting and the spacious waterfront situation are all qualities that ensure a smooth embedding and connection between the terminal and its surroundings.
